Heavy Equipment Production Company ( HEPCO) , as the biggest manufacturer of Road and Mining machinery in the Mid-East was established in 1975 , the immediate purpose of which was producing and assembling such products as Dozer, Loader, Roller, Excavator, and Motor Grader.
In order to develop its business and to transfer the necessary technology from overseas, HEPCO opened cooperation in those fields as production , sales, and after sales service with world prestigious Brands including Volvo, Liebherr, Komastu, Dynapac, and New Holland .
Following this, HEPCO started to design some products in its own R&D department so that it could develop the range of its products. Here, HEPCO experienced business with some well-known parts manufacturers such as Sauer, Rexroth, Deutz, Carraro,and ZF , which in turn, created more reputation for this Iranian company . By this, HEPCO has already enjoyed the highest share of the machinery in the local market.
The production line in HEPCO plant is equipped with modern cutting tools, welding sets, and milling machines to which one should also add CNC tools. This capacity allows HEPCO to produce 2500 units of different machinery and to build 20000 T of various steel structures per year.
Moreover, HEPCO has gained a reasonable share in producing equipment used in Oil/Gas industries.
